Care instructions
Always test an offcut or sample prior to working the leather with tools, adhesives or heat. To ensure the leather print on your product is as durable as possible, we’ve worked hard refining our printing process and craftsmanship. Repeated turning or working may affect the digital print, always test your processes on a sample first. As leather is a natural material you may notice small differences in surface and texture, as well as wrinkles, which is common to products made from natural leather. All leathers age naturally according to the usage, and this can cause the print to wrinkle or fade slightly over time. It is possible the base colour may show through the leather as it ages with wear. When not in use we recommend storing your product in a protective dust bag or box to keep your product looking its best. Avoid prolonged exposure to extreme heat, sunlight, water, and chemical cleaners to maintain a bright and long-lasting print. Avoid contact with light coloured fabrics or upholstery as the colour may transfer. Whilst a light rain shower is unlikely to harm, we recommend protecting from rain. Should your product get wet, allow to dry naturally away from direct heat. To clean surface wipe only with a damp lint free cotton cloth.

Design Your Own Travel Card Holder: How It's Made
When you design your own travel card holder, it is handmade by our expert team of leather workers and seamstresses.
First, your designs are printed onto your choice of leather or faux leather. You can design both the front and back of the card holder, as well as the pocket flaps inside. Therefore a total of 3 pieces of leather will be printed.
The pieces are then handstitched together with your choice of thread color so that it does not take away from your beautiful designs. Using the same color paint, we finish the edges to add extra protection to the leather as well as create a clean, sleek appearance.
Once complete, your custom travel card holder is quality checked and sent on its travels to you, so you can go on your travels, too.
Design Tips
Your leather printed custom travel card holders three separate pieces of Nappa leather, with the largest part folded over to create the front and back of the cover. This means you have 4 different areas to think about when you design your own travel card holder. You might want to do one pattern all over, with contrasting inside flaps, or something different on each panel for a quirky and truly unique look.
The design interface will allow you to experiment with designs and see how they fit. The hashed out areas will not be printed, so please make sure your designs fit properly into the safe.
Once you've decided on your patterns, you can view how they look on your product in the 'product view' and also choose which leather finish you would like; smooth or textured.
You could add your initials using the text tools of the front of your custom travel card holder, or hide your name away in the inside to add a final personal touch.

Print Guideline
What's the best resolution to print in?
We print at 200dpi, which is a good combination of quality and file weight. Ideally your image should be scaled to 100% at 200dpi, this means that no resizing of your file occurs stopping any interpolation.
Should I save my file as a TIFF or JPEG?
For multi-colored or very detailed files we recommend using a tiff format, but they must be flattened. For simple colours and low detail files, a jpeg is fine.
Which color model should I choose? RGB or CMYK?
We advise providing images in the RGB color space. Specifically using the sRGB image profile, to achieve best color results. What does this mean? In your editing software, choose RGB as the working space and assign the image profile as sRGB (full name sRGB IEC61966-2.1)
What does GSM mean?
Grams per Square Meter (GSM) is an international standard for measuring the weight of paper or fabric. GSM uses the weight of a square meter (1000 x 1000mm) as an indication of the weight and thickness of a given fabric. We class 20-100gsm as light (summer fabrics, gauzes and fine silks), 101-249 gsm as medium (most clothing fabrics) and 250+ gsm as heavy (upholstery fabrics, and other specialist fabrics).
What are bleed areas?
When designing your product, it’s best to make sure that your image is slightly larger than needed. In printing, the extra printed image is referred to as a “Bleed Area” or margin, and it is removed from the finished piece. A bleed area acts as a buffer for slight inconsistencies in the manufacturing process. however, it’s important to fill your bleed areas completely, or you may end up with white, unprinted strips along the edge of your finished product.
Do you print on garments a customer supplies?
Unfortunately not. All our garments are printed on flat fabric, and sewn into finished products, which gives a better finished result and all-over print. We test meticulously so that we know what gets best results on our fabrics, and our facilities cater perfectly to them. We do however print sublimation paper to order, so if you have access to a heat press you can press your fabrics or flat garments easily.
Can you Align a Pattern or design across panels of a garment?
We always strive for the greatest accuracy when printing and constructing your garments. However, due to unavoidable stretch or movement of the fabric during the stitching process, we cannot guarantee perfect pattern registration across garment seams. We are generally accurate within 0.08" 0.12", which Is close enough for most patterns, but may show slight issues with detailed geometric patterns.
Can I print my own Labels?
Most of our garments now come with printable label space for you to add your own company information and branding! If you would like to sew in your own labels, we also offer Printed Fabric Labels here.
How is your fabric printing eco-friendly?
With environmental consciousness in mind, our fabrics are all printed using completely water based inks. This means no chemicals or solvents are used. Our heat fixing procedure fixes the colors and prints, avoiding the downsides of steaming, such as excess or contaminated water returning into the waste system. We have one facility in where we conduct all the printing, production and fulfillment.
Please note: As we make everything by hand, all sizes may vary slightly.
What is Nappa leather?
Nappa leather is a really high quality, lightweight calf leather that comes textured or smooth. It is known for having a soft feel and is perfect for printing directly onto.
What areas can I design?
The custom travel card holder is made of 3 leather pieces, with the largest part folding over to create both the back and front of the holder. Both the front and back of the holder can be designed separately, as well as the two pockets.
Can you use the travel card holder for other cards?
Yes, the printed travel card holders comprise of two different card pockets, so you can use it for both travel cards and debit cards.
