Design your own silk face mask
A printed silk face mask is the perfect way to elevate this everyday accessory. Upload your art and choose between white or black stitching to complement your design. Featuring a flexible nose bridge and ear loops with size adjusters, the mask molds to the face and stays in place, which can help reduce the foggy glasses dilemma. Our 100% pure silk fabric can be comfortably worn all day without causing skin irritation. Silk is naturally cooling and hypoallergenic, which makes it perfect for those with sensitive skin. The lack of friction from this fabric means it won't cause breakouts, and since silk doesn't absorb much moisture, it won't dry out your skin. Best of all, the silk face mask can be hand-washed and reused again and again.
From two pieces to one
We handmake your face mask by printing your designs on two pieces of silk and stitching them together with your choice of black or white thread. The handmade nature of our masks means that a continuous print will not be matched up over the seams. This seam helps to create the structure of the mask and can elegantly complete your design. It's the perfect opportunity to print two complementary designs.
We use industry-leading techniques to print your design onto the silk. These methods produce a vibrant print without changing the luxurious feel of the fabric and don’t compromise its beautiful sheen. The inner silk layer of the mask will remain unprinted.
How your mask will fit
The custom silk face mask is available in one size and will fit most face sizes and shapes. Refer to the maximum face size suited for this mask in our size chart. Silicone size adjusters on the ear loops can be tightened or loosened to help the mask fit. The face mask is 9.45" wide and each ear loop is 8.66" around.
Here’s how to measure your face:
- Measure from the middle of your nose to just behind your ear, and multiply this measurement by two.
- Measure from the middle of your nose to just below your chin
To properly wear your face mask, slip the ear loops around each ear and adjust the position of the mask to cover your nose and mouth. Mold the flexible nose bridge to your face, move the ear loop size adjusters to a place that feels comfortable, and you’re good to go.
How to care for your mask
Silk is a wonderful fabric that deserves to be treated well. To care for your silk face mask, gently hand-wash after each use to keep it hygienic. Use a mild soap or a specialized silk detergent and hang to dry. Do not machine wash or dry. Your mask can be ironed on medium heat. If you notice any creasing due to water or wear, you can iron your mask to keep it looking fresh.
Please note that this is not a medical-grade mask (which is recommended by the World Health Organization to prevent coronavirus) and does not prevent coronavirus infection. Please do not purchase this product with the false understanding that it will protect you against illness. Because of hygiene concerns, face masks are non-returnable.
