The Four Parts of the World was a French fabric that was designed in 1788. The French name for it is Quarter Parties du Monde. This print shows the four continents of the world during the 18th century. As you can see there is a camel, elephant, a lion, ostrich and other exotic birds. This vintage red and white design make this a unique and classic look. Its designer was Jean-Baptiste Huet (1745-1811).
