How your leather iPad cover is made
We use the most up to date printing technology to print onto our leather materials. Expert printing technicians are fully trained in these modern techniques, which bond the rub-proof inks with the fibers of the leather itself. This makes your design as strong as the leather for a long-lasting, high-definition print.
Craftsmen then cut your custom leather iPad case to size and shape, this is done after the printing process to ensure that your design runs from one edge to the other, without any white edges at the seams. This is then passed on to our artisan seamstresses who lovingly hand stitch your custom leather iPad case, ensuring that it is finished to the highest quality.
Care Instructions

To ensure the leather print on your product is as durable as possible, we’ve worked hard refining our printing process and craftsmanship. As leather has a naturally textured surface you may notice small surface differences, common to natural leather and the printing. All leathers age naturally according to the usage, and this can cause the print to wrinkle or fade slightly over time. It is possible the base color may show through the leather as it ages with wear. When not in use we recommend storing your product in a protective dust bag or box to keep your product looking its best. • Avoid prolonged exposure to extreme heat, sunlight, water, and chemical cleaners to maintain a bright and long-lasting print. • Avoid contact with light colored fabrics or upholstery as the color may transfer. • While a light rain shower is unlikely to harm, we recommend protecting from rain. Should your product get wet, allow to dry naturally away from direct heat. • To clean surface wipe only with a damp lint free cotton cloth.
Design Tips
There is a small semicircle cut-out at the top of the case, this appears on both sides. Its purpose is to let you slide your device in and out of the custom leather iPad case easily, without any struggle. Bear this in mind when you are planning your design as any part which covers that area you will not see in your final product, avoid putting any major design features in this area.
As the high-quality Nappa leather is a natural material, there will be a visible grain, pockmarks and a patina which develops over time, this is to be expected and add a charming authenticity to your custom leather iPad case, as well as making sure that even with the exact same design, no two are ever the same.
We advise using more detailed patterns than solid blocks of color as on the leather as a large amount of a single color may appear to be patchy due to the variations in the texture of the material. Our state-of-the-art printing methods mean that we can print fine details up to 2 pts, so intricate detailing is not an issue at all.
